We are a 501c3 non profit set up to help a Children’s Home in Kenya’s Narok County, where the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve is located. These children are orphans or have family unable to care for them. We have teamed up with Amani Mara, an ecolodge in the Mara, in our efforts to enrich the children’s lives by supporting and encouraging their continued education. Kenyan secondary public school is not free – it is, in fact, rather costly. This help includes paying tuitions, hiring tutors to work with the children when they are out of school, purchasing required school supplies and uniforms and purchasing computers and other supplies. We also pay health insurance premiums, transportation fees,internet and electricity for the home itself. Without our help, the children’s educations might easily end at grade 8. And the children would face futures as cattle herders, early marriage, FGM or life on the streets. We pride ourselves on the fact that all donations go directly to helping these children. We do not take administrative or promotional costs from our donations. Nor do we take our travel expenses from donations. We are totally invested in helping these children succeed.
